Why size is hard to judge from a list
A product page will give you millimetres and a screen size in inches. The questions that usually matter are simpler: is it taller than the phone you carry now? Will it feel different in a pocket?
Putting two phones together makes small gaps clear—like the 17 being a few millimetres taller than the 17e—before you buy a case or trade in.
